📕 About me

I am a retired university professor of German. I taught historical linguistics at London and Cambridge Universities and retired early in 2010. I have also taught English as a foreign language. I’m looking for Spanish conversation of an intermediate/advanced level. My wife and I own a house in Fuerteventura, where we travel two or three times a year. I can offer English and German conversation. I'm interested in languages and also know French, Italian, Latin, and a few others with varying degrees of fluency. My hobbies are writing novels and classical music, especially organ and choral music. I spend most of my time writing creatively, researching about German language and literature and English church history.
