Hi! My name is Marjorie, a visual artist from Nairobi, Kenya working in photography, film, and performance. I'm passionate about storytelling, especially narratives that center Afrocentric realities and the beauty of everyday life. I’m currently learning Spanish because I’d love to travel through Latin America—countries like Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, and Peru are high on my list. I believe language is a powerful way to connect more deeply with people and culture, and I’d love to practice with native or fluent speakers. In exchange, I can help with English or Swahili. I enjoy hiking, long walks, reading, going to the cinema, creating art, and having thoughtful conversations. Sunday mornings are special to me—I wander the streets capturing quiet moments for a photo series. I also enjoy running and dancing, especially in natural spaces. I'm curious, and open to learning from others around the world.
