💬 Can speak: English
🤝 Needs to improve: Spanish
📕 About me
Background: I am an American man. I'm a caretaker, a woodworker, and a scientist. I like the outdoors, music, and reading. Currently I'm trying to learn Spanish for several reasons. The primary one is that I volunteer for a free clinic, and many of the people who need that clinic speak only Spanish. There is a shortage of translators who can help. I can't think of a country that I wouldn't want to visit, but of course Spanish speaking countries would be top of the list as visiting them would help me to fluency. Practical Information: I can't yet communicate in Spanish. I'm looking for pronunciation corrections. My Accent: I spent part of my childhood in Kentucky in the midwest near, but not in Appalachia, and the other part in Louisiana in the south near, but not in Cajun areas. So while my accent can be considered Midwestern American, experience with a variety of accents as a child means that I don't have any strong traits of any accent.
